Footloose at The Sands Centre, Carlisle

UK Rigging provided a temporary theatre grid for ‘Footloose’ at The Sands Centre in Carlisle.
The grid was necessary so that all production elements could be flown without compromise. With our knowledge and experience of The Sands Centre, Carlisle we were able to provide a system allowing for maximum trim heights in a venue that has a relatively low roof for a theatre setting. A 3am load in meant it was critical there was sufficient equipment and personnel on site to overcome any potential issues.
The design needed to be efficient and straight forward to reduce the chances of problems arising.
Due to careful planning pre-event, we met our handover target, with maximum trim heights achieved and with time to spare; allowing the relaxed atmosphere to continue through to the technical load in.
