UK Rigging exhibited at PLASA Focus Glasgow, an exhibition for the events and entertainment industry.

The event took place at the Scottish Exhibition and Conference
Centre (SECC) from 18-19 January 2017.

The show was a success with many passing visitors and potential new clients.

Director Harry Box along with Chris Higgs from Total Solutions Group also led the Riggers’ Forum (sponsored by UK Rigging). This event is aimed squarely at working riggers who rarely have an opportunity to discuss their opinions outside the workplace.

The forum began with short topical presentation by Chris and Harry, joined by an impressive line-up of panellists including Ali Low from the National Theatre of Scotland, Calum Willoughby of Pinnacle Rigging and Access and Chris Bank of Dock 10 Studios.

This was followed by an open forum for riggers to discuss the issues of the day. It was a great opportunity for the rigging community to meet and network in Glasgow.

For those wishing to attend one of the Riggers’ Forums, this is now run regularly alongside every PLASA show – PLASA London, PLASA Focus Leeds and PLASA Focus Glasgow. The event is free to attend.
