UK Rigging is a division of Concert Lights (UK) Ltd

Founded in 1991, we supplied lighting and rigging for the entertainment industry. In 2005, the decision was made to streamline. Lighting equipment was sold, UK Rigging was formed and from then on, only rigging services were provided. These include:

UK Rigging has an exceptional reputation for their high standard of work and attention to detail.  Staff are competent, experienced and knowledgeable.

Because UK Rigging only provide rigging, expertise is not diluted.  UK Rigging employ full time riggers and rigging project managers, enabling instant expert advice to be available at all times from knowledgeable people. UK Rigging are solution finders and get tasks completed within budget, professionally, safely and efficiently.


Memberships and Involvement in Relevant Associations

UK Rigging is a member of the National Rigging Advisory Group (NRAG).  Director Harry Box was involved in founding, developing and maintaining the National Rigging Certificate (NRC) and the soon to be launched National Event Lifting Certificate (NELC) and Trailblazers Live Event Rigging Apprenticeship scheme.

UK Rigging are members of PLASA (Professional Lighting and Sound Association) and BSI (British Standards Institute).

Health and Safety

UK Rigging fully understands applicable legislation, responsibilities and has the technical expertise and resources to plan and ensure work is carried out safely and efficiently.  Appropriate qualifications are held by staff members including the NEBOSH certificate, IOSH managing safely, the National Rigging Certificate Level 2 and 3 qualification.

For every event, a full specific health and safety document is produced which includes a detailed method statement for how the work is to be carried out, a risk assessment, a safety briefing, the rescue procedure in addition to UK Rigging’s health and safety policy and insurance details.
